The Mason-Dixon Line one might ask? No… Ryan knows nothing of this line, having lived on both sides. “The line is broken” Ryan stated after having a chat with him for this fabulous mind-expanding biography. I then had to ask, “Why are we talking about the Civil War? That was a long time ago.” Virginia… is where the journey begins. “A fine Virginian specimen” some would say while living in Manassas Virginia. Here is where Ryan became ever so preoccupied with the pursuit of music that is awesome. Music so powerful that it can paralyze, cause heart attacks, and even melt faces. It was this pursuit of musical power that drove him out of Virginia to travel to the heart of Boston’s Berklee College of Music. There Ryan stayed for 4 years hence needing a modified title: “A fine East Coast specimen.” Once again, the need for change was apparent, as the hunger for face melting musical power had not been attained. From Boston he traveled to California to seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly move with his friends from college to continue the pursuit of what they referred to as “The Power.” Now stationed in L.A.’s Van Nuys, he continues his musical endeavors, as supplies are abundant. It was here that a mysterious job-ad in craigslist alerted him to a new possibility. Ryan’s mobile communication device sang with the sound of Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” as Ryan popped his head out through his “fort” consisting of chairs, blankets and pillows. It was none other than Howard Rosen, the promotional mastermind himself on the device. Now employed, his new team searches for Artists and Musicians capable of wielding this face melting power.
